Elaine Danson's first hand experience in working with students,
teachers, families and schools is extensive. She began teaching
in 1974 and taught in the public, private and independent sector.
She joined Montcrest School in 1986 as Director of Special Education
and became Principal in 1991. For 15 years she led Montcrest School.
All of these accomplishments provided her with extensive knowledge
and experience.
Elaine served on the Board of Governors of both the Canadian
Association of Independent Schools and Royal St. George's
College. Presently she serves on the Board
of the Conference of Independent Schools, the Mabin School, the
Canadian Educational Standards
Institute, and Camp Kirk.
She has a B.Ed from the University of Toronto and a Masters
of Education, in Special Education from the Ontario Institute
of Studies in Education (OISE).
Elaine began to consult to families, students and schools in
September 2006. |
